Nobody told me
it was this simple.

I spent decades eating whatever was convenient. Bagels every morning. Bread with everything. Sugar in the coffee, sugar in the sauce, sugar in things I didn't even know had sugar. I told myself I was busy. I told myself it was age.

Five months ago I got a wake-up call. No dramatic diagnosis. Just a moment of honesty with myself about what I was putting in my body — and what I was letting into my head.

I cut the white bread. I dropped refined sugar. I started intermittent fasting — eating in a 6-hour window, fasting 18. I stopped buying ultra-processed food. That's the whole list.

167 pounds today. More energy at 55 than I had at 40. Not because I found a hack. Because I stopped lying to myself.
